Submitting and Presenting an Item or Motion

Use the Contact form and choose “WSO agenda item.” Members are strongly encouraged to attend and present their proposal. If you cannot attend, you may designate a proxy and should provide supporting thoughts and detailed rationale.

Attendance and Carryover Policy

If the member proposing a motion—or their designated proxy—is not present when it is scheduled, the item remains on the agenda for up to two consecutive meetings. If neither is present during that period, the item is removed.

If discussion is deferred for procedural or timing reasons, the Chair will announce that the item carries over. It may remain beyond two meetings as long as the proposing member or proxy is present to speak to it.
